The website of the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine has published an analytical material by S. S. Dembitskyi, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, “Generalised normative orientation, life priorities and attitudes to authoritarian order”

Those who place general laws and rules above personal decisions are twice as likely to be oriented towards others (21.5% against 11.9%) and far less likely to agree that order is the main thing in the state, and that any means will do to maintain it (26.6% against 39.5%). These associations hold after controlling for socio-demographic variables.
