Guidelines for authors

The journal is published quarterly in Ukrainian.

The editors accept materials as typewritten or printed texts (2 copies, 1.5–2 line spacing, 12–14 pt) and in an electronic version, either recorded on a CD or another removable medium (with a printout) or sent by e-mail to the editorial address (an electronic document in MS Word-97 — MS Word-2007 format without positioning or hyphenation, in which only the Times New Roman typeface should be used for the text, except for symbol fonts in formulae).

Ukrainian and English abstracts of the article must be submitted, setting out the methodological and procedural basis of the study, its results and conclusions (0.7–1 standard typewritten page, or 1200–1800 characters), together with keywords in Ukrainian and English.

The author's surname, first name and patronymic, contact telephone number and address, as well as details of their place of work (with the full address), position and academic degree are given on a cover page, where the author's first name and surname should also be given in Latin script (as they appear in the author's documents, in particular the international passport).

Quotations translated by the author themselves must be accompanied by the corresponding passages in the original language.

Bibliographic details should be given at the end of the article as an alphabetical list of references (first the sources set in Cyrillic, then those in Latin script). References to sources should be given in the text in square brackets in accordance with international standards (e.g.: [Bourbaki, 1978: vol. 1, p. 1]), and comments as footnotes with continuous numbering.

If an article contains illustrative material (tables, graphs, diagrams, figures), each such item should be submitted with the corresponding caption in electronic form: tables, graphs and diagrams in Excel formats, figures in CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator formats (illustrations imported into Word are not suitable for further work).

The editors do not review or return manuscripts. The editorial board's assessment is intended strictly for internal editorial use.

The author may not submit to other publications any material accepted by the editors and approved for printing by the editorial board.

Articles signed by their authors express the authors' views, which may not coincide with the position of the editorial board.

The editors reserve the right to shorten articles and to carry out copy-editing.

Submitting materials to the journal's editors implies consent to publication in print in the journal and in electronic form in the publications with which the editors have the corresponding agreements.
