The main change is in the attitude towards one’s own country!
In an interview with Suspilne Sprotyv, the deputy director of the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Sociological Sciences Serhii Dembitskyi shared his thoughts on the changes in Ukrainian society brought about by the war. In his view the main change in the context of the full-scale invasion is the long-awaited change in the attitude towards one’s own country. All the other important changes are a continuation of trends that had been laid down in Ukraine earlier. Serhii Dembitskyi also spoke about the specific features of conducting the sociological monitoring «Ukrainian society» (Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine) and about the changes to this monitoring in 2022.
