The round table “Life-creation as resilience — Ukraine and Ukrainians in the years of war”
On 29 November a session of the round table “Life-creation as resilience — Ukraine and Ukrainians in the years of war” was held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, Professor Lidiia Vasylivna Sokhan.
The school of thought founded by L. V. Sokhan back in the 1980s has been developing fruitfully for a fifth decade. Its work is extremely relevant today, when Ukrainian society must display the greatest possible vitality in the struggle against the enemy in the Russian-Ukrainian war. How to strengthen the resilience of society at every level was the subject of an interdisciplinary dialogue among sociologists, political scientists, psychologists and educationists. Representatives of academic institutes and of the country's leading universities took part in the discussion. Current work was presented in papers by representatives of three generations of L. V. Sokhan's school. The round table became an important platform for exchanging views on identifying problem areas and outlining ways of strengthening the resilience of Ukrainian society at the institutional, group and individual levels.
