Yurii Oleksiiovych's personal qualities — humanity, responsibility, respect, composure, fairness and care — always found a grateful response among colleagues and friends, and his professional opinion, advice and comments were received by them and by the expert community as weighty and authoritative.
Yu. O. Pryvalov received a distinction of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine — he was awarded the medal “For professional achievement” for outstanding scholarly accomplishments and on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
We express our deep condolences to the family of Yurii Oleksiiovych Pryvalov, to those close to him, to his colleagues and to all who knew him and worked with such an exceptional person.
