Announcement of the round table “Life-creation as resilience — Ukraine and Ukrainians in the years of war”

The Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine and the Sociological Association of Ukraine invite you to take part in the round table “Life-creation as resilience — Ukraine and Ukrainians in the years of war”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Lidiia Vasylivna Sokhan, which will be held on 29 November 2024.

Main themes for discussion:

• Ukraine's national resilience, its factors and resources.
• Institutional resilience in various institutional fields (the army, medicine, education, civil society, the church, the media and so on).
• The role of self-organised civic communities (volunteers, volunteer battalions and others) in securing the state's resilience in the years of war.
• The resilience resources of various social groups (internally displaced persons, migrants, residents of front-line settlements, residents of de-occupied territories and others).
• Personal resilience — adaptability and creativity as a response to the challenges of wartime (social expectations, life strategies, plans, projects and so on).
