The collective monograph "Social expectations as a factor in constructing interactions under conditions of social instability" has been published.

The monograph is a comprehensive study of the role of social expectations in the process of restoring and maintaining social order in a situation of constant existential threat. It defines the epistemological and conceptual frameworks that make it possible to address the questions of a sociology of the future in the extreme situation of war. It offers a social typology of expectations, defines the features of their unfolding in temporal space and examines the rational and non-rational grounds on which mass expectations are formed. On the basis of quantitative and qualitative empirical research it examines social expectations regarding the country's future, its economic development and the development of democracy, and studies the transformation of narratives of the future in the discourse of the Russian-Ukrainian war, in particular visions of future Ukrainian-Russian relations. Separate attention is given to Ukrainian war migrants and their expectations about returning home. Addressed to researchers, teachers, students, representatives of civic organisations, civil servants and politicians.
