Talents for Ukraine

8 November 2023

The Kyiv School of Economics' KSE Foundation, with the help of international donors, has created the Talents for Ukraine programme to support a new generation of leaders who think outside the box, who are talented and unconventional and who act vividly and inventively. Since the Ukraine of the future is impossible without the development of creative potential, the programme's aim is to support, present and honour talented individuals from various fields who move Ukraine forward.

Among this year's three laureates is the Director of the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the NAS of Ukraine, Doctor of Sciences, Professor Yevhen Golovakha. Presenting the laureate, the KSE Foundation notes: «Talented, charismatic and determined people are the foundation for rebuilding and further developing our state. Professor Golovakha has written 15 books on sociological and psychological subjects, and his scholarly works have been published in European countries and in the United States. He is currently focusing on sociological research within the theme «War and social change in Ukraine» – in his work he uses the data of the sociological monitoring of social change that the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine has been carrying out for 30 years».

We warmly congratulate the laureate and wish him and all Ukrainian sociologists new scholarly achievements and contributions to the development of the country's scholarship!
