A success for Ukraine's sociologists at a conference in Austria

The annual conference of the World Association for Public Opinion Research (WAPOR) was held in Salzburg, Austria. A strong team of Ukrainian sociologists took part in it and spoke on a special panel devoted to our country – Ukraine's representative in WAPOR, Candidate of Sociological Sciences, Senior Research Fellow of the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine Olha Burova (in the conference hall itself), the Deputy Director of the Institute, Doctor of Sociological Sciences Serhii Dembitskyi, and a number of colleagues – remotely.

Observing the reaction of foreign colleagues and speaking with them, Burova noted: «I am very grateful to our speakers for being at their best! Our research pleasantly impressed all the international colleagues present with its professionalism, deep analysis and the wide range of themes concerning the war in Ukraine. Indeed, little is known about us in the international community, and it is splendid that people are learning in just this way. A full hall, many questions and responses over almost a whole day».
