Meeting with Oleksandr Poznii

On 13 January 2025 doctoral students of the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine met Oleksandr Poznii — Director of the research company Active Group, board member of the Kyiv branch of the Sociological Association of Ukraine, public sociologist and expert in the study of public opinion.

Participants were able to learn more about the work of Active Group, about current approaches to research and about opportunities for future cooperation. Oleksandr Poznii shared interesting details of the “Pulse of the Week” project and of panel research in general. His experience of running focus groups and of applying techniques for modelling future scenarios drew particular interest.

The meeting was a valuable source of new knowledge and inspiration for young researchers, opening up prospects for professional development in sociological research.
