The monograph offers a systematic sociological study of the democratising transformations of the internet age. On the basis of conceptual generalisations about the connections between the democratisation and the digitalisation of contemporary societies, and of an analysis of the empirical data of the monitoring surveys of the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine (2002–2020), it carries out a comprehensive sociological analysis of the specific features and the effectiveness of electronic democratisation in Ukraine.
