Biography
In 1975 she graduated from the faculty of history of the Belarusian State University (Minsk), defended a candidate’s dissertation (1984) and a doctoral dissertation «Values and symbols in mass communication» (1994). Since 1990 she has worked at the Institute as a senior, leading and chief research fellow. Since 2007 – head of the department of the sociology of culture and mass communication.
Author of special courses for students of sociology faculties: «The sociology of mass communication», «The analysis of texts in sociology».
Research interests: contemporary culture, media, communications.
