Reznik Volodymyr Stanislavovich

He graduated from the faculty of history of the V. P. Zatonskyi Kamianets-Podilskyi State Pedagogical Institute (1987-1993) and completed the doctoral programme of the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine (2006-2009). He worked as a teacher of history (1993-1994) and as a lecturer in sociology, conflict studies and political science (1994-2004). In 2004-2006 – research fellow, in 2006-2009 – doctoral student, in 2010-2012 – senior research fellow of the department of economic sociology of the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine. Since November 2012 – head of the department of the history and theory of sociology of the Institute of Sociology of the NAS of Ukraine.

Research interests: social psychology, the history and theory of sociology.

• Research project «The present state and prospects of metatheorising in sociology» (January 2017 – December 2019).
• Research project «Social order in contemporary Ukrainian society: modernisation, self-organisation and legitimation» (January 2014 – December 2016).
• Research project «The formation of a responsible society: the state, political movements, business» under budget programme 6541230 of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (September 2018 – December 2019).
