The Institute publishes monographs, collections of research papers and brochures, as well as periodicals.

  • The journal Sociology: Theory, Methods, Marketing has been published quarterly since 1998. Since 2023, it has also been available in electronic form. Until 2022, the journal was published in both Ukrainian and Russian, after 2022 – only in Ukrainian. Website of the journal: https://stmm.in.ua/
  • The monograph Ukrainian Society: Monitoring of Social Changes has been published annually since 2000 based on the findings of the project with the same name (edited by Valeriy Vorona and Mykola Shulga). Collective monographs are also published in series, in particular:

The series Great Social Transformations presents editions of the leading Western sociologists (in particular, D. Lane, 2006; I. Szelényi, G. Eyal & E. Townsley, 2008), as well as books with comparative analysis based on the data of the international projects, including the European Social Survey and the International Social Survey Programme.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the IS NASU has been publishing the series of books Ukrainian Society in Wartime: Year 2022; Year 2023 (etc.).
