Abstract: This section analyzes the social expectations of Ukrainian war migrants in Poland following the 2022 invasion. Based on qualitative research conducted in Spring 2024, the study focuses on adolescents (14–18) and their mothers. It explores adaptation challenges in employment, education, and social environments. Findings reveal significant differences between adults and adolescents regarding return plans and expectations for the future of the country. The research highlights how expectations are managed under conditions of high uncertainty and how they differ across generational lines.
