Abstract: Today, Ukraine is in extreme conditions that have radically changed the lives of many Ukrainians. The urgent extreme situation produces new, most effective in wartime conditions, opportunities for social activity and interaction, including taking into account modern digital challenges. At the same time, trust becomes a significant trigger for modern social activity and interaction. And obtaining relevant, unbiased information is an urgent need of today. The war has dramatically increased the importance of news and information. It's important to understand that online information warfare is becoming the "fifth force" of modern warfare. Trust in various sources of information, including online ones, is becoming a pressing issue in Ukraine today. Our research provides answers to the following questions: how has changed sources of information during the wartime? Which sources do Ukrainians choose today for important information? Which sources do they trust today mostly? What motivates this choice?
